let’s party!

Items :

• lil caffeinated bean buddies

• a kettle or water heating device

• 2 cups ( 500 ml ) ov h20

• a tablespoon

• a grinder

• a fresh cone shaped filter

• ur fav mug

• the legendary v60

Prep :

Crank up that heat and get that water boilin!! Get 2 lovely scoops ov those beanies and drop em in your grinder. We lookin for a size similar to granulated table salt. After your morning noise music session, place ur fresh filter in the v60 and give it a solid rinse with hot water. Then add that fresh ground coffee to the filter. Then give that filter a lil soft tap to even the grinds. 

Brew brew : 

Lets gooo! start the brew phase by gently pouring your fresh hot water on the grinds. Pour in a soft circular motion until the grinds in the bed are all saturated then pause. Wait for 30 seconds. This brief stop is known as the BLOOM! It allows the beans to release built-up C02 that occurs during roasting. Yayyy! 

Try and split the remaining water between 2 more pours with a 15-second pause between them. Make sure to keep that circular motion during these pours and keep that brew lookin even. Once all that water is used up, give ur v60 a lil swirl motion with your hands and place it back on your mug. This swirl is to help create an even bed ov coffee in the filter and thus, an even extraction ;)
